Dr. Michael A. Bruno is a Professor of Radiology and Medicine, serving as Vice Chair for Quality and Chief of Emergency Radiology at Penn State University. A graduate of The Johns Hopkins University and the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Bruno earned an M.D. and a Master's degree in Biophysics in 1987. They completed their residency in Diagnostic Radiology at UC Irvine in 1992 and a Fellowship in Nuclear Radiology at Vanderbilt University in 1996. With a substantial contribution to the field, including approximately 80 published articles and several textbooks, Dr. Bruno's research focuses on reducing diagnostic errors in radiology.
