Steven Sugarman is the Founder and CEO of The Change Company, which Steven established in 2017, and has been involved in various portfolio companies since then, including xChange and Change Home Mortgage. Prior to this, they served as Chairman and President of Banc of California from 2013 to 2017. With experience as Co-Founder of GPS Partners LLC from 2005 to 2009 and a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, Steven has a strong background in finance and consulting. They also hold a law degree from Yale Law School, earned in 2000. Additionally, Steven currently acts as Chairman, President, and CEO of Patriot National Bancorp Inc. since 2025.
