Charles Wanga is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in the health sector, particularly in malaria research and public health communications. Currently serving as the Head of Communications for the Africa Region at PATH since February 2022, Wanga previously held key roles at Jhpiego, including Africa Region Communications Manager, where responsibilities involved managing a comprehensive communications portfolio across multiple country offices. Wanga's earlier experiences include serving as Communications Manager for the Multilateral Initiative on Malaria, where coordination of significant malaria conferences and global communication efforts was paramount, and establishing communication strategies at the African Malaria Network Trust.
