Joshua Borden is currently the Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel Americas, and General Counsel for L&H Structured Transactions at PartnerRe, a role they began in 2023 after serving as Vice President, Associate General Counsel there from 2019 to 2023. Joshua has represented insurance companies on regulatory, reinsurance, corporate, and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, and has focused on compliance with state insurance regulations. They obtained their Juris Doctor with High Honors from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Connecticut. Prior to their tenure at PartnerRe, Joshua worked as Counsel at Eversheds Sutherland and as an Associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP.
