Emoke Posan MD, PhD, currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at PartnerRe since December 2021 and is a member of the Scientific Board for CLIMOA and the AAIM/Climoa 2024 Scientific Committee. Previous experience includes the role of Medical Director at London Life/Great-West Lifeco Inc from September 2011 to December 2021, and Cardiac Electrophysiologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute from January 2008 to December 2009. Emoke Posan also held a position as a Cardiac Electrophysiologist at the University of Toronto in 2006-2007, and as an Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine/Cardiology at the University of Debrecen from 1996 to 2004. Emoke Posan earned a PhD in Hemostasis & Fibrinolysis from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in February 1999, completed a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Western University from 2004 to 2006, and received an MD and PhD from the University of Debrecen, Hungary.
