تأسست شركة البنك الإسلامي الفلسطيني المساهمة العامة المحدودة عام 1995 وباشر البنك نشاطه المصرفي في مطلع عام 1997، ويبلغ رأسماله المصرح به 100 مليون سهم بقيمة إسمية دولار أمريكي واحد للسهم، وتم خلال عام 2017 زيادة رأسماله المدفوع ليصبح 69 مليون دولار أمريكي. البنك الإسلامي الفلسطيني
