Stephan Sanders is an accomplished academic and clinician with extensive experience in genetics and paediatrics. Currently serving as Director at MRC CoRE - Therapeutic Genomics and as a Professor of Paediatric Neurogenetics at the University of Oxford, Sanders has also held positions as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at UCSF since 2014. The Sanders Lab focuses on genomic research related to neurogenetic disorders. Additionally, Sanders has authored and edited three medical textbooks with Oxford University Press and has a background that includes a PhD in Genetics from Yale University and a Diploma in Mountain Medicine. Experience also includes work as an Expedition Doctor for a BAFTA-winning series and as an SHO in Paediatrics with Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust.
