Gayle Valensky, MPH, is a seasoned engagement professional with a passion for building and nurturing strong communities. They served as a Research Analyst at San Diego State University, implementing research compliance policies, and later as a Project Manager at The Scripps Research Institute, overseeing the launch of a significant health research project. Currently, Gayle is the Associate Director of Community Engagement at Scripps Research, where they lead strategic efforts for participant recruitment in the All of Us Research Program and build relationships with national partners. Since 2025, they have been the Chief Community Officer at Owaves, focusing on enhancing the wellness of college students through innovative engagement strategies. Gayle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCSD and a Master of Public Health from San Diego State University.
