Elizabeth Allkins has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Energy Strategy at OVO since September 2013. Over the years, Elizabeth has held various leadership roles including Head of Market Design, Head of Policy Analytics, and Senior Policy Advisor, focusing on changes in the UK energy industry and global energy markets. Prior to OVO, Elizabeth worked in several capacities related to commercial and trading management, including Senior Industry Charging and Risk Manager and Pricing Manager, where responsibilities included analysis and forecasting of costs. Earlier, Elizabeth completed a Master's project as a Statistical Healthcare Modeller at Aneurin Bevan Health Board, aimed at enhancing emergency care delivery. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences from Durham University and a Master's degree in Operational Research and Applied Statistics from Cardiff University.
