Mary McConnell is a seasoned civil engineer with 30 years of experience, currently serving as the Director of Civil Engineering for Osborn Engineering. Previously, they held roles including Principal at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. and Director of Civil Engineering at KZF Design. Mary has collaborated on a wide range of projects, from government and military projects to institutional site designs. They are also known for their commitment to mentoring in STEM fields and have delivered keynotes on overcoming challenges in engineering and youth engagement. Mary obtained a BS in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University and has a rich history of leadership in various engineering and design capacities.
