Garry Johnson is an experienced Operator Training Officer at Origin Energy since May 2015, specializing in the training of personnel for Power Station operations and maintenance across various generation assets, including Coal, Gas, Co-Gen, and Hydro Power Stations. Prior to this role, Garry served as a Shift Coordinator and Power Plant Controller at Redbank Power and as a Deputy Team Leader volunteer for the NSW State Emergency Service, with training in Public Safety Operations and Rescue. Additional experience includes significant operations management at BHP Steel, focusing on boiler and turbine operations. Garry holds multiple diplomas and certifications in areas such as ESI Generation, mechanical engineering, leadership, workplace safety, and training and assessment from reputable institutions including TAFE NSW and CLET Training.
