Judy K. is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, advocacy, and community service. Currently serving as a Long Term Care Ombudsman at Senior Advocacy Services since June 2019, Judy works to protect residents' rights. In addition to this role, Judy has been a volunteer greeter at Laguna De Santa Rosa and manages community health initiatives with Orenda International. As the Director of Youth Programs at Beth Ami, oversight of religious education for PreK-6th grade and youth activities is provided. Judy also offers peer counseling to seniors at West County Community Services and has extensive experience as a substitute teacher for various age groups in Sonoma and Santa Clara County. With a solid educational foundation in Therapeutic Recreation and Special Education from San Jose State University, Judy continues to advocate for vulnerable populations and promote educational development.
