Dio Sumagaysay is a seasoned healthcare executive currently serving as the Vice President of Perioperative and Multi-specialty Procedural Services at Oregon Health & Science University. With extensive experience in nursing leadership, Dio previously held roles such as Associate Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Nursing at various prestigious institutions including New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Scripps Memorial Hospital. Dio’s career began as a Senior Staff Nurse at Georgia Regional Hospital at Savannah, followed by positions at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where they honed their skills in the operating room. Dio earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of St. La Salle and holds two Master’s Degrees in Nursing Administration from The Johns Hopkins University and New York University.
