Aleix López Garulo is a skilled aerospace engineer with a strong background in system engineering and aeronautical design. Currently serving as a System Engineer at Orbit Fab since March 2024, Aleix previously held the position of Lead Aeronautical Engineer at Skycart, where expertise in CAD and CFD tools was applied to develop a multi-delivery electric VTOL drone. Aleix's research experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the AES Experimental Aerodynamics Laboratory at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on UAV wing enhancements using synthetic jet actuators. Additional experience includes an aviation analyst role at iTOR MARTIN, assessing airport operations, and a research internship at Pprime, concentrating on composite material behavior under various stresses.
