Bob Kinast is a Director of Cloud Operations, Cloud Engineering, and Quality Assurance at Oracle, where they oversee multiple aspects of cloud management and quality assurance for various financial and project management solutions. With extensive experience as an Engineering Manager and VP, Bob has managed cross-functional teams and has a strong background in hardware, firmware, and software quality for SaaS products. They began their career as a Hardware/Firmware Engineer at ESA Telecommunications, designing communication technologies and contributing to the creation of 25 U.S. patents, of which Bob is the original inventor on nine. Previously, Bob held leadership roles at PCTEL, Smith Micro Software, Safco Technologies, Agilent Technologies, and Textura Corporation, where they focused on quality assurance, product development, and the management of engineering teams across various technologies and industries. Bob is currently pursuing education at Northern Illinois University.
