Rajiv Arya MD, MBA, FACEP, currently serves as a Strategy and Growth Consultant at Optum Advisory Services, where Rajiv leverages clinical expertise and business acumen to lead a team focused on enhancing value for underserved healthcare communities. Previously, Rajiv held the position of Chief Medical Officer at UnitedHealthcare, leading national initiatives to improve care for high-cost Medicaid members, and was a Special Project Consultant at Rutgers University, optimizing revenue and access for Medicaid patients. Rajiv's extensive background in quality and patient safety includes roles as Chief Quality Officer at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where Rajiv managed quality programs and staff engagement, as well as earlier leadership capacities at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Rajiv's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
