Jake Thompson is currently the Vice President of Program Innovation at Options for Learning, leveraging a deep commitment to education and engagement. Previously, from 2021 to 2025, they served as the Senior Director of Academics at Alpha Public Schools and have held various teaching and leadership roles in educational settings, including the role of IB Curriculum Coordinator at Atlanta Public Schools, where they were recognized as Teacher of the Year in 2013-2014. Jake’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Behavior from The University of Georgia and a Master of Education in Early Childhood from Georgia State University. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a passion for fostering collaborative relationships and innovative learning experiences for students and educators alike.
