Matan Shoef is an experienced professional in the field of algorithms and engineering, currently serving as the Algorithms Team Lead at OpenEyes since September 2020. Prior to this role, Matan was an Algorithms Researcher at Samsung Israel R&D Center from May 2019 to February 2023. Matan's career began in the IDF, where services were rendered as a Research and Development Engineer from May 2011 to May 2017. Matan holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physics from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
