Zane Ball is a Chief Technology Officer at the Open Compute Project Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors at Napatech. With over 25 years of experience in the tech industry, Zane has held significant leadership roles at Intel, including General Manager of the Desktop Platforms Group, where they managed over $10 billion in P&L and drove substantial operating profit improvements. Zane's academic background includes multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rice University, capped by a PhD. Currently, Zane also acts as a strategy advisor for Astera Labs and serves as an advisor for Z Insights.
