Danielle Mages Amato is the Director of New Plays and Dramaturgy at The Old Globe. Their extensive experience includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas from 2012 to 2017, as well as acting as President during that time. Previously, they worked as a Dramaturg and Literary Manager at The Studio Theatre from 2004 to 2009. Danielle earned both an MFA and a PhD in Theatre from UC San Diego, where they studied from 1995 to 2003.
