Naoufal Mahdar is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Senior Vice-President of Climate and Decarbonisation at OCP Group. They previously held a significant role at OCP S.A as Vice President of Climate Action & Decarbonisation, where they developed decarbonisation strategies across various domains. With earlier experience as Managing Director at SAMAB Maroc and ALMABAT, Naoufal has also worked extensively in drilling engineering roles at renowned companies such as Total and BP. They earned a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and Management from École Centrale de Paris, following foundational studies in advanced mathematics.
