Jie-Yu Liu, Ph.D., is a forward-thinking biomedical research scientist with expertise in murine genetics and a strong background in the cellular and molecular biology of aging and cancer. They have completed internships at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, G1 Therapeutics, Inc., and the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control, among others. Jie-Yu has held research associate positions at National Taiwan University and the University of Michigan, focusing on cancer prevention and the pathogenesis of colon cancer, respectively. Currently, Jie-Yu serves as a Senior Scientist II at Ochre Bio, exploring target discovery in fatty liver diseases, and has published over 10 peer-reviewed scientific publications driven by their analytical skills and collaborative spirit. Jie-Yu earned a Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
