Dalal Al-Abdulrazzak currently serves as the VP of Conservation Programs at Ocean Wise, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this role, Dalal was the Vice President of Business Development and Chief Science Officer at Vericatch from May 2019 to July 2025, where leadership involved developing software for fisheries data collection and seafood traceability. Experience also includes positions such as Director of Business Development and Chief Science Officer at The University of British Columbia, and Senior Science Specialist at Vancouver Aquarium, where Dalal set the scientific direction for sustainable seafood recommendations. Dalal's background includes a PhD in Zoology from The University of British Columbia and extensive work in marine policy and conservation, including roles at the United Nations and contributions to various sustainability projects globally.
