Tyler Evans is a geologist with extensive experience in production and development within the oil and gas industry. At Oxy, Tyler served in various roles, ultimately as Senior Geologist for Development, where responsibilities included the planning and creation of 3D geo-cellular reservoir models for the Cedar Canyon asset in Eddy County, NM. Prior experiences include positions as Staff Geologist and Senior Staff Geologist for International Exploration, focusing on subsurface interpretation in the UAE, Oman, and Algeria, as well as enhanced oil recovery projects. Tyler began academic endeavors as a Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geological Sciences from the same institution.
