Nikita Petrov is a Principal Radar Signal Processing Engineer at NXP Semiconductors, where they have been working since 2022. They completed a PhD at TU Delft from 2013 to 2019, focusing on advanced signal processing algorithms for the detection of weak and small moving targets. Prior to their current role, Nikita gained experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher, conducting research on automotive radar diagnostics and calibration methodologies. They also held positions in radar signal processing and electronics development at ELEKTROPRIBOR and Leninetz between 2010 and 2013, respectively. Nikita earned an Engineer's degree in Radar Control Systems from Baltic State Technical University "VOENMEH" named after D.F. Ustinov in 2012.
