Shaun Harris is currently on sabbatical after accumulating over 20 years of hardware systems engineering experience, particularly in data center design, power distribution, and server design. They served as the Director of Engineering at Microsoft from 2008 to 2024, managing a diverse team and overseeing significant projects, including the development of innovative power system solutions. Prior to that, Shaun worked at HP/Convex as a Power Systems Architect and at Texas Instruments/Raytheon as a Power Supply and Analog Design Engineer early in their career. Shaun holds a BSEE from The Oklahoma University and a Master's in Systems Engineering Management from Texas Tech University, along with 54 granted patents in various engineering fields. They currently hold the position of Director of Data Center Electrical Engineering at NVIDIA.
