Malene Højbjerre has served in various leadership roles within Novo Nordisk since February 2008, including Vice President of Biometrics, Vice President of Biostatistics, and Vice President of Global Development - Global Business Services. Prior to this, Malene Højbjerre held academic positions at Aalborg University from 1994 to 2008, including Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and PhD-student. Malene Højbjerre's career began as a Research Assistant at Aalborg University and the Research Centre Foulum in the early 1990s. Educationally, Malene Højbjerre obtained a PhD in Statistics and an MSc in Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science from Aalborg University, following early education at Aalborghus Gymnasium and Gug skole.
