Emily Shanks is a professional with extensive experience in financial services and legal practice. As the Founder and Partner-in-Charge EMEA at Noviam Inc since May 2024, Emily is dedicated to connecting talented individuals with leading financial institutions through innovative hiring and training methods. In their role as a board member and Corporate Relations and Sponsorship Lead at the Women's Irish Network UK, Emily works to support and inspire Irish women in London. Additionally, Emily is a member of AwakenAngels, an investment syndicate promoting investment accessibility for Irish women. Previously, as Director of Banking Services at Wiley Edge, Emily developed a non-technical hiring and training offering and led the establishment of multiple client-focused practices at First Derivatives. Emily's career began in legal practice, where as a Solicitor, Emily specialized in litigation and dispute resolution. Emily holds an LL.B in Law with Spanish and a professional legal studies certificate from Queen's University Belfast.
