Asako Ouchi is a Senior Attorney at IBM Japan, bringing over 15 years of experience in the legal industry, including a solid foundation from Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, a top-tier law firm in Japan. Specializing in antitrust law, Asako developed expertise in legal analysis and complex investigations, later expanding their practice while serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Novartis. Asako's current work at IBM focuses on privacy, cybersecurity, AI, economic security, and IT-related legal matters. Recognized as a “Rising Star” on the Legal 500 GC Power List for Japan in 2024 and 2025, Asako also received the Young Lawyer of the Year award at the Asian Legal Business Awards in 2025. Currently, Asako is pursuing a degree at Keio University.
