Xiangdong Feng is currently the Head of Technical R&D in China at Novartis, where they focus on CMC and collaborate with regulatory and clinical teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives. Previously, they served as the Global Head of Strategy and Special Projects and led the Chemical Process R&D Unit at Novartis, managing a team of approximately 100 professionals. Earlier in their career, Xiangdong was a project manager at Solvias AG in Basel. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the Free University Berlin in 2001.
