Joana Santos is currently the Global Regulatory CMC Associate Director for Cell and Gene Therapies at Novartis, a position they have held since 2022. They previously gained experience as a Global Regulatory CMC Manager within the same company. Earlier in their career, Joana worked as a pharmacist and pharmacist intern at various healthcare facilities, including La Salete Robles and a pediatric clinic. Joana received their degree in Pharmacy from the Universidade do Porto and studied at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. They are currently enrolled in an online course at The Johns Hopkins University, focusing on vaccine trials.
