Victoria Christensen, PhD, is a Principal Materials & Process Engineer with a PhD in Materials Science, focusing on high-temperature materials for the aerospace industry. During their time as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at UC Santa Barbara from 2018 to 2024, they researched degradation mechanisms in ceramic matrix composites and developed strong communication and leadership skills through mentoring and presentations. Earlier, Victoria served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Penn State University, where they worked on 3D printing ceramic materials and developed their technical expertise through various internships in the materials engineering field.
