Marcus Carter, CISM, CDPSE, is a Cyber Security Manager at Northrop Grumman, where they lead security assessments and develop system-specific policies while ensuring compliance with government regulations. Previously, Marcus served as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve from 2009 to 2022, managing security programs and training over 1,000 service members across multiple countries. They have also worked as an Information Systems Security Officer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, providing information assurance for highly classified systems. Marcus holds a Master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and is pursuing graduate studies in Cyber Security and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy.
