Karen Massal is a Lead Technology Developer with extensive experience in engineering leadership across multiple companies, including Northrop Grumman and Martin Marietta Laboratories (now Lockheed Martin). From 1991 to 1995, they served as a Staff Engineer in Information and Signal Technology R&D, designing advanced DSP-based systems for defense applications. Currently, they are a Staff Chief Engineer at Northrop Grumman, focusing on radar and sensor systems. Karen has also held leadership roles at various organizations, including founding EEDACS, where they provided engineering expertise in embedded computing and communications systems. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Maryland College Park.
