Farjahan Rahman Shawon, PhD, has an extensive background in education and media, serving as a news presenter, program host, and program planner at Bangladesh Television from 1990 to 2015. In the academic sector, Farjahan has held various roles, including research assistant for the Idaho EPSCoR GEM 3 project, senior research consultant at EduSmart, and program coordinator at the University of Idaho's International Programs Office. Farjahan also contributed as a language and music teacher at The Aga Khan School and an MYP and DP Bengali language and literature teacher at International School Dhaka. More recently, Farjahan served as an assistant professor at Carolina University and is currently the director of The Center for Teaching and Learning at Northern New Mexico College.
