Paul Evans has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Paul began their career in 1996 as a Senior NDT Technician at Oceaneering, where they worked for 15 years. During this time, they gained experience in positive material identification, piping and vessel inspections, and analysis of results. In 2011, they transferred to Oceaneering Middle East as a Material Identification Supervisor for Maersk Oil Qatar, where they supervised a team and carried out inspections and reporting. In 2012, they moved to Maersk Oil Qatar as an Offshore Inspection Supervisor, responsible for the day-to-day running of the offshore NDT inspection team, as well as external and internal inspections and first point of contact for integrity issues. In 2014, their role changed to Offshore Integrity Engineer, incorporating project supervision alongside inspection responsibilities. In 2017, they joined North Oil Company Qatar as an Offshore Integrity Engineer.
