Sean Moran is the Collections Manager of Paleontology and Geology at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, NC. Currently finishing a doctoral dissertation at the University of Florida Department of Biology, Sean focuses on the response of North American mammals to the Eocene-Oligocene climate transition using stable isotope geochemistry and geometric morphometrics. Previously, Sean held positions at the Florida Museum of Natural History as a Graduate Research Assistant and conducted research as a Student Intern at the Smithsonian Institution. Sean's academic background includes a Master of Science in Geosciences and a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from the College of William and Mary. Additionally, Sean has extensive teaching and outreach experience in the field of paleontology.
