Roderick Knipsael is a seasoned professional in the tax technology and customs consulting sectors, with extensive experience since 2009. As the Founder of taxtech500 since January 2023, Roderick has developed an online community platform for tax technology and e-invoicing. Roderick has been part of the Customs & Tax Department at NIPPON EXPRESS GROUP since April 2013 and served as Managing Director at TXP from April 2019 to January 2024, providing customs and VAT consultancy for the logistics and e-commerce industry. Prior roles include Director VAT & Customs, Senior Manager VAT & Customs, Manager Indirect Tax, and Indirect Tax Consultant at Baker Tilly from October 2009 to April 2019. Roderick's educational background includes a Bachelor in Fiscal Economics and a Master LL.M in Fiscal Law from Maastricht University, as well as an NOB degree in Indirect Tax from the Nederlandse Orde Belastingadviseurs.
