Katie Gurgainus is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in account management and creative leadership across various renowned agencies. Gurgainus began the career at Ogilvy & Mather, serving as an Account Executive for multiple key brands, including Kodak and Hilton Head Island Tourism. Subsequent roles at Howard Merrell & Partners and Deutsch LA saw a progression to Global Account Supervisor, where oversight of Volkswagen’s brand campaigns was a key responsibility. Following years at Wieden + Kennedy, Gurgainus transitioned to Nike as Global Creative Director, leading creative executions across flagship channels and overseeing significant global campaigns. Currently, Gurgainus holds the position of Nike Global Director – Brand Voice, focusing on ‘Just Do It’ and Icon Athlete-led campaigns. Gurgainus holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
