Joshua Holmes has a diverse background in mental health and education, with extensive experience in psychoanalytic practices. Beginning as a Teaching Assistant at Grafton Primary, Joshua progressed to various roles, including Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist in training at Camhs and an interim Clinical Team Lead at Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust. Joshua currently serves as a Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with the NHS and as a Guest Lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London, where teaching focuses on psychoanalytic theory, research, and infant observation. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychoanalytic Studies from the Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies and a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from the University of Essex. Prior research experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families.
