Deborah Allen is a GP trainee in Oxford with a focus on health inequalities and primary care epidemiology. They served as a First Responder Team Leader during the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and held an epidemiology research placement at the Big Data Institute, where they investigated COVID-19 outcomes linked to health determinants. As an honorary researcher at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, they are currently researching inequalities in menopause symptoms and HRT provision. Deborah earned their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Hull York Medical School and holds a Master of Science in Global Health Science and Epidemiology from the University of Oxford.
