Jaideep Maolankar is an experienced aviation professional with a distinguished career spanning several decades, currently serving as Executive Vice-President of Technology Development at NewSpace Research and Technologies since April 2022. Prior to this role, Jaideep held significant positions including Senior Vice President of Technology Development in Aero & Defence, and Chief Test Pilot at the National Flight Test Centre, where responsibilities included leading test flights for the Light Combat Aircraft (Tejas). Jaideep's naval experience comprises commanding officer roles on Indian Naval Ships Ganga and Udaygiri, coupled with extensive flight testing and upgrade work on the Sea Harrier during a 15-year tenure with the Indian Navy. Jaideep's educational background includes specialized training at the IAF Test Pilot School and the Defence Services Staff College, bolstered by a strong foundation in mathematics and science from the National Defence Academy.
