Juliyan Gunasinghe is the Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder of Neuralgap, where they leverage their expertise in drug discovery. Currently a PhD candidate in Medicinal Chemistry at Monash University, Juliyan holds a Master of Science from Swinburne University of Technology and a commendation-rich undergraduate degree in Biotechnology from the same institution. They have a keen interest in using AI and machine learning for developing antiviral and cancer therapeutics, specifically through computational methods and drug-repurposing strategies.
