Gert Gijbels is an experienced entrepreneur and business leader with a diverse background in company growth and development. Currently serving as the Afgevaardigd bestuurder at NOA since May 2014, Gert focuses on mentoring scale-up founders through various growth programs. As a co-author at Welpreneur, Gert recently published a book on self-care for entrepreneurs, and holds the position of Corporate Dating Enabler at Tribo, a NOA spin-off. Gert also owns Insights@work bvba, providing strategic growth solutions for companies. Previous experiences include founding Mookum, Midan Hong Kong Ltd, and Eunasco China, along with working in business development and e-procurement roles at Ahlers and Atlas Copco. Gert is actively involved in various boards and advisory roles, enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Gert is pursuing a postgraduate degree in Sustainability Leadership at KU Leuven and possesses an MBA from China Europe International Business School.
