Vidblain Balvas López is a seasoned cinematographer and director of photography, with a career spanning over two decades. They have worked as a cinematographer at Acidas Films since 2002 and currently hold roles with Netflix and as the director of photography for the HBO Latin America series *Dios Inc*. Additionally, Vidblain serves as a professor of cinematography in 35mm at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica and is a Fulbright/COMEXUS Visiting Scholar at the University of Colorado Denver, where they teach advanced cinematography courses. They studied cinematography at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica and have also pursued studies in creative writing and journalism.
