Previously, How Jiann served as Vice President and Executive Producer at Hongli Animation Studios from 2019 to 2023, and held various positions in production and technical direction in multiple companies including Base FX and Sparky Animation. How Jiann began their academic journey with a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, completing it in 2006. They also worked as a Research Project Officer at Nanyang Technological University from 2004 to 2005.
