Willem Botha currently serves as the Head Agronomist for the EMEA Division and Turkistan at Netafim since January 2026, focusing on agronomic infrastructure and business development. Prior to this role, Willem held positions at Netafim Netherlands as both Business Development Manager and Marketing Manager from October 2021 to January 2026, where responsibilities included senior management participation and leading marketing activities. From October 2007 to October 2021, Willem worked in various capacities at Netafim Southern & East Africa, contributing as both Marketing Manager and Agronomist, with a focus on sustainable irrigation practices and market development. Willem's career began at Vinpro in South Africa as a Viticulturist from December 1999 to September 2007, offering consultancy on wine grape production and vineyard planning. Willem holds a Certificate in Wine Evaluation and a BSc. in Agricultural Sciences with a focus on Viticulture and Oenology from Stellenbosch University.
