Dawn Higgins, PHR, SHRM-CP, is an experienced human resources professional with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Since June 2006, Dawn has worked at Nestlé Purina North America, currently serving as the Director of Employee Engagement and previously holding positions such as Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Diversity & Inclusion Manager. In these roles, Dawn has developed and implemented strategies to foster an inclusive culture and support global diversity initiatives. Prior to Nestlé, Dawn served as an Adjunct Professor at Lindenwood University, teaching Human Resources Management at the graduate level, and held various HR roles at May Merchandising Company and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, focusing on executive recruitment and full life cycle recruiting, respectively. Dawn holds an M.A. in Human Resources from Webster University and a BSBA from the University of Central Missouri.
