Jerry Savonije is an accomplished Development Manager at Neste, responsible for early project development and planning phases at the Rotterdam location, with ongoing responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle. Jerry has a wealth of experience in process engineering, having previously served as Commissioning Manager for the MultiPLHY project, the world's first high-temperature electrolyzer system for green hydrogen production, and worked as a Process Engineer at Europe's largest renewable products refinery. Prior to Neste, Jerry held significant roles at Uniper and E.ON, focusing on continuous improvement and performance optimization in power plants, and gained foundational experience at Freeport-McMoRan, PEB Group of Companies, Shell, and ExxonMobil. Jerry holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and a Post Bachelor Black Belt from The Lean Six Sigma Company.
