Sam Sutherland has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as an Operations Tech at Fircroft since May 2014. Prior to this role, Sam worked at BP on the Bruce Platform from March 1991 to May 2014 and at the Buchan Alpha Platform from August 1984 to March 1991. Education includes a Higher National Certificate in Electronic Engineering and City & Guilds Part 3 in Higher Maths from Thurso Technical College, completed between 1972 and 1979. Additionally, Sam obtained O Grades in Maths, Arithmetic, History, Technical Drawing, Physics, and Chemistry from Thurso High School from 1968 to 1972.
